Founded in 1946, Christian Dior is known for revolutionizing women's fashion with its iconic "New Look" silhouette. Following Dior’s untimely death 1957, he was succeeded by Yves Saint Laurent, who introduced youthful and modern designs. Later designers include John Galliano, who was renowned for his avant-garde and theatrical creations as well as Raf Simons who brought a contemporary aesthetic, combining minimalism with Dior's timeless elegance. Today, under the creative direction of designers like Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior continues to evolve while remaining synonymous with French haute couture and luxury fashion.
